Mars
Mars is the fourth planet from the Sun in the Solar System, known for its reddish appearance due to iron oxide on its surface. It has a thin atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide and features the largest volcano, Olympus Mons, and the deepest canyon, Valles Marineris, in the solar system. Mars has two small moons, Phobos and Deimos, and evidence suggests it once had liquid water. Ongoing exploration by rovers and orbiters aims to understand its geology and potential for past life.
